Pillar Creatures
The design concept for the pillar creatures was mostly improvised during the foam carving. Only a few basic sketches were used to outline the general form. The figures were individually carved from an expanding foam material. Each measured over 4-1/2 feet tall, but weighed less than twenty pounds. The final carvings were attached to the pillars of the Pirin Moh set and painted by the scenic painters.
