In a post-apocalyptic world, a team of archaeologists work to uncover any remaining trace of the past civilization. The team is led by Cervantes, a man who believes that the hope for humankind lies in the contents of the eventual find. The team instead unearths the apartment of an average Joe, living in the early twentieth-century, which is far from the revolutionary discovery Cervantes hoped for.
